The Ganesh Festival, also known as Ganesh Chaturthi, is a Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha, the God of Wisdom, Prosperity, and Good Fortune. It is widely celebrated in India, particularly in the states of Telangana mainly in Hyderabad city, Maharashtra, Goa, and Gujarat. The festival usually falls in August or September and lasts for 11 days. At the Evergreen Friends Association, we take great pride in celebrating the Ganesh Festival every year with great enthusiasm and devotion. Our association is dedicated to promoting the cultural heritage of India and spreading awareness about the significance of this auspicious festival.
We organize various events and activities during the festival, including traditional dance performances, devotional singing, and delicious food stalls. We aim to create a festive atmosphere where people from all walks of life can come together and celebrate the festival with joy and harmony. Apart from the Ganesh Festival, the Evergreen Friends Association also works towards promoting community service and charitable activities. These association members' main focus is showing their involvement in helping society. The members are educated possess professional qualifications in their respective fields, and serving for private organizations. The association members always intend to serve the poor and needy individuals and serve society without looking into any self-benefits and profits.
Our association has always been blessed with good support from a few of our EGFA members, who are living abroad. However, their always endeavor support and involvement with the association made the association strong and successful.
EGFA so-called “Evergreen Friends Association”, Hyderabad formed in 1991 with a tiny strength of group members. It has now been gradually extending and strengthening its members' year by year to become more solidified. As of today, the strength has been extended up to more than a hundred members with an intensive intention to bestow better services to society without expecting and aspiring for any kind of benefits and credits from the outside society.
At the same time, we are proud to announce officially that the EGFA has successfully completed its 25th year of the silver jubilee ceremony. The association has conducted blissful Cultural and Traditional programs and successfully ran a Medical and Blood donation campaign on its premises with an aim and motto to serve the poor and needy public in the society. At the same time, we eagerly await and anticipate an opportunity to celebrate the diamond jubilee ceremony shortly with all your extended cooperation and collaboration.
The unique feature of our association is Pluralistic, Ethical and Non-denominational which always opens its door to welcoming other people to join us. We seek people from multicultural dimensions with different backgrounds without looking into his / her caste, creed and religion.
